Recommended Age Guidelines for Screened Films and Programs

At Hiroshima Animation Season 2026, we have assigned a recommended age rating to all screening programs.

For feature-length films and other works that have been officially classified by Eirin (the Film Classification and Rating Organization), we follow their classifications. For all other works, the recommended age ratings have been determined according to Hiroshima Animation Season 2026’s own criteria.

These guidelines are not necessarily intended to restrict admission based on age. We hope you will use them simply as a reference when deciding which programs may be suitable for you.

Below, we have provided detailed information about programs that are rated Recommended for ages 13 and over or above, as well as programs that contain strong light or intense flashing. We hope this information will be helpful when deciding which programs to attend.
