【HAS2024】First round of jury and program & H-AIR invitees announced
The first round of jury and program has been announced!
①The jury members in charge of "Short Competition" and "Pan-Pacific and Asia Youth Competition" out of the four competition categories have been announced. The jury members are as follows.

The divisional allocations will be announced at a later date. These jurors will also be visiting Japan.
②The festival program will feature a variety of programs, including retrospective screenings featuring the jury members. The following programs have been confirmed.
・The first major retrospective in Japan of León & Cociña 's "The Wolf House". Joaquín Cociña will be on stage.
・”A Town Called Panic" feature, with a talk by Stéphane Aubier , one of the co-directors of the film.
・Retrospective screenings by Jian Liu and Atsushi Wada .
・As "Festival Focus," Waltraud Glausgruber(Austria) from "Tricky Woman/Tricky Realities Film Festival" and Wang Chi-Sui from "Taichung International Animation Festival (TIAF)" will be featured.
Other programs will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
③The main visual designed by Nata Metlukh (Ukraine/USA), an animation artist, has been released.
Invitees for the residency program "Hiroshima Artist-in-Residence (H-AIR)" have been selected!
A total of 3 artists were selected as invitees for H-AIR from a total of 97 applicants, more than double the number of the previous first round. The following three artists have been selected as invitees.

The three artists, each of whom has a remarkable international track record, will stay in Hiroshima City for three months from June to create new animations, conduct workshops tailored to their respective creative styles, and engage in exchange activities with the public. A presentation program will be held during the festival.
