The Festival Date announced & Call for Entries: Competition and H-AIR
The dates for the second edition of the festival "Hiroshima Animation Season 2024" have been set for August 14 (Wed) - 18 (Sun), 2024. The venue is JMS Aster Plaza.
In addition, call for entries for the Competition and H-AIR (Hiroshima Artist-in-Residence) have been open from today.
In this year's festival, there are four competitions:
(1) Short Competition
(2) Feature Competition
(3) Pan-Pacific and Asia Youth Competition
(4) Japan Commissioned Film Competition
Entries are accepted through FilmFreeway.
The application period is until April 14, but there will be an fee after March 18, so please submit your film as soon as possible.

H-AIR is a residency program for animation professionals. This time, we will invite three professinals to Hiroshima for three months from June to August 2024. The application period is until January 31, 2024. We look forward to receiving many applications.
