When the lights go down in an old theater in New York's Central Park, the puppets come to life with a will of their own. Don, who has played the clown for years while dreaming of playing a real hero just once, is inspired by Dee, who always plays the maiden, and finally musters the courage to venture out into the outside world! Along the way, he meets DJ Doggy Dog, an abandoned, lost stuffed animal who wants to become a rap star. As the two become great partners, a thief plotting to steal and sell puppets appears before them—? A story of friendship and adventure written by the writers of "Toy Story".
