SCHEDULE
Aug 20th (Thu) 10:00~ @JMS ASTER PLAZA Grand Hall
Program Overview
Commemorating the Hiroshima Award, we will screen "TAROMAN EXPO EXPLOSION" a tokusatsu (special effects) action film motived by the words and works of Taro Okamoto.
The year is 1970. As Japan is buzzing with excitement over the World Expo, a strange beast arrives from the future of 2025 with the mission to annihilate the Expo. To protect the Expo, the Earth Defense Force, along with Taroman, heads toward the future of "Showa Year 100"—a world filled with order and common sense.
In this program, the screening of this film will be held as the "Do Not Cheer" Cheering Screening, which has become a hot topic across various parts of Japan. Please enjoy this film, filled with Detarame energy, in a special screening style where shouting is OK! Clapping and hand-clapping are OK! Singing is OK! Goods and cosplay are OK! However, you must not cheer for Taroman!
For the post-screening talk, in addition to Director Fujii, Taroman will also crash the stage!
