The Feature Competition is a competition section for animated films with a running time of over 30 minutes. The Grand Prix will be determined by audience vote. For HAS 2026, five films have been selected for the competition, and all five will have their Japanese premiere at the festival. This program presents Zsazsa Zaturnnah.
Ada is a shy gay man who has had many heartbreaks over many years. He had committed himself to a simple and single life. But when a magical stone from outer space transforms him into a flamboyant female superhero, Ada is forced to face great challenges: from fighting zombies to stopping invading Amazonistas from Planet X, to the even more difficult task of risking his heart to love again.
Avid Liongoren has been drawing since he was a child & aspired to become a ninja just like his turtle idols. He did not have the physicality to master martial arts but he could eat a lot of pizza. He has since pursued making films, working in both live action & animation. While he may not be able to accurately throw shurikens, he is always willing to exchange his internal organs for project funding. He is the founder of Rocketsheep, a tiny indie animation studio from the Philippines made up of awesome artists who are great at friendsheep. その後は映画制作の道へ進み、実写・アニメーションの両分野で活動している。正確に手裏剣を投げることはできないかもしれないが、プロジェクト資金のためなら自分の内臓を差し出す覚悟は常にある。 彼は、フィリピンの小さなインディペンデント・アニメーションスタジオ「Rocketsheep」の創設者でもある。そこには、最高に素晴らしいアーティストたちが集まっており、“friendsheep（友情）”にも長けている。
